Now I know how odd that sounds, but let me explain why. But I think that making it so only premium users can read more than two stories offline is a slap in the face to quite a few writers I know on there. I do like that Wattpad created their premium version specifically for ONLY paid stories with a few extras added in, I can respect it. a paywall, for stories that authors aren’t asking any money for seems absolutely horrid. I personally love writing and it’s something I wouldn’t ask money for, but I have respect for people that can make money off of books. I know that many writers on there don’t actually write for money, and don’t expect money from it. I’ve looked at previous forums of it and people say that “understand why” but I honestly don’t understand why, so if my reasoning below is wrong about all this, please correct me so I can stop feeling angry. I don’t understand why they would even need a paywall for this thing. I go to download stories, and it says I can only download.
So I recently came back to Wattpad in search of some good books to read like I used to, and I’m getting ready for a fun, relaxing trip.
